For nearly 50 years, the nonprofit ValleyCare Health System has been providing a full range of inpatient and outpatient medical care to area residents.
Through the Valley Memorial campus in Livermore and ValleyCare Medical Center in Pleasanton, the system provides services in nearly every significant medical category, and offers a number of educational and informational programs to the public. The Livermore campus includes a skilled nursing unit and inpatient senior psychiatric unit; a state-of-the-art medical plaza with outpatient services (including surgery); and LifeStyleRx, a medically based fitness center.
Livermore residents are also served by Kaiser Permanente, America’s largest not-for-profit healthcare organization. An integrated health delivery system, Kaiser Permanente provides complete member care, including prenatal and well-baby care, immunizations and diagnostic screening, as well as full medical, hospital and pharmacy services.
