Citrus Community College is the oldest community college in Los Angeles County and the fifth oldest in the state.
Today, Citrus serves more than 11,000 students on its 104-acre campus. As a public, two-year college, Citrus offers academic programs for those who want to earn an associate’s degree or transfer to a four-year university. Students who are preparing for entry into the job market can select from more than 30 certificate programs, many of them focused on technology-oriented fields. In addition, a Career Ladders program offers short-term preparation for entry-level positions and Continuing Education classes are designed to help people meet their professional and personal goals for lifelong learning.
Founded in 1990, Mt. Sierra College is a private institution offering a variety of bachelor’s degree programs in the fields of Business, Media Arts and Technology. All degree programs can be completed in three years and focus on providing practical, real-world skills using current industry tools, technologies and methodologies.
The College offers a free referral and placement service to employers looking to hire qualified, professional candidates and also offers the use of facilities for interviewing.
