RiverPark, the pinnacle of recent real estate development within Oxnard, is designed with a mix of 2,600 residential units and approximately 900,000 square feet of commercial/retail currently being developed, as well as lakes, parks and jogging trials.

Various projects are also currently under construction in the beautiful Channel Islands Harbor area. Seabridge, for example, is a waterfront community with 395 townhouses, 276 single-family homes, 21 “Live to Work” units, and 169,000 square feet of commercial/retail space. With other new developments in the planning stages, Oxnard continues to provide a wide variety of housing choices and offers some of the most affordable housing in Ventura County.
Oxnard’s 2009 median home price (all units) is estimated to be $303,900, down 12 percent in real terms from 2008. The real median home price is forecast to increase 1 percent in 2010.
It is estimated that Ventura County’s 2009 existing single-family median home price will be $428,000. This would be a significant decrease of 8 percent from 2008.
