A Dynamic Community for Business

The thriving business community of Palm Desert works hand in hand with the city government to encourage growth and preserve the quality of life in Palm Desert. Sensible development and business appropriate to this area are the focus of multi-governmental agencies representing the entire Coachella Valley.

The City encourages the growth of appropriate business in the city, through a Business Support Center that offers assistance and information to businesses considering relocating to Palm Desert. Support is also provided for existing businesses, including an innovative "Façade Enhancement" program that provides matching funds to remodel existing businesses and improve streetscapes.

College of the Desert's Economic Development and Community Education department assists business with specialized training, workshops on issues such as Customer Service and continuing education.
