Library

Pleasanton’s beautiful library is a center for community learning, reference, research and reading enjoyment. In addition to general reference and information services, the library offers the public Internet access, online reference services, interlibrary loans and home access to the library catalog through the web from its home page: www.ci.pleasanton.ca.us/library. The Friends of the Pleasanton Library, a volunteer support group, sponsors two large book sales each year. The proceeds from this very successful fundraiser are used to purchase new materials, equipment and programs for the library. The library also provides an Adult Literacy program, with information available by calling 931-3411. The library is located at 400 Old Bernal Avenue. Call (925) 931-3400 for more information.
