Downtown is the true gathering place for our community—it is where we come to celebrate Pleasanton. Downtown is where visitors can experience the best of our historic character, mixed with exciting shops and restaurants. Downtown is the host of Pleasanton’s special celebrations, from the Holiday Parade to Summer Concerts in the Park. Downtown has activities that span the calendar—antique fairs, classic car shows, music and street festivals are always drawing crowds of locals and tourists.
Every Saturday brings the Farmers’ Market to downtown. Fresh organic produce, fresh-cut flowers, breads and pastries, jams and cheeses are lovingly displayed for the customers who travel here from throughout the region. The market is year-round from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Great sights, smells, tastes and sounds (live music, too).
