Convenience is key when it comes to Rosemead. Just 12 miles east of Los Angeles, Rosemead’s location in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley makes it easily accessible and within proximity to all of the attractions of the area. Major highway arteries in the area include U.S. 60 (Pomona Freeway), U.S. 10 (San Bernardino Freeway), CA-19 (Rosemead Blvd.) and CA-605 (San Gabriel River Freeway).
Several nearby airports make air travel a breeze. The El Monte Airport, just two miles away in neighboring El Monte, is one of the nation’s 100 busiest general aviation airports. Used by both residents and businesses, the El Monte Airport provides access to the nation’s air transportation network. Burbank Airport is 21 miles away, while Los Angeles International Airport is 30 miles away. Rosemead is also situated just 25 miles north of the seaport terminal of Long Beach-Los Angeles.
Public transportation is available through Metropolitan Transit Authority and Foothill Transit. Greyhound and Continental stations are located nearby.
