Rosemead continues to be the hub of economic strength in Western San Gabriel Valley, given its location, strong municipal finances relative to current times and a “can do” attitude of both the public and private sectors. The Rosemead community uniquely includes established and new cultures; large, mid-size and small businesses; primary, secondary, university and adult educational organizations; and, very importantly, several impacting not-for-profit enterprises serving the needy as well as disadvantaged. At its nexus, the Rosemead Chamber provides market data and facilitates development, location identification, regulatory permitting and financing. Its members and board include representation of several banks and major companies, which are active within the community.
