Welcome to North Hollywood! We are glad you have chosen to spend some time with us. North Hollywood offers you a combination of very interesting and eclectic choices. Located only minutes from downtown Los Angeles, it is a charming suburban community with roots dating back to the turn of the century and with a vision to evolve as a very important part of the city in the 21st century.

North Hollywood is home to many small theaters and a variety of whimsical retail shops, great restaurants, and a growing arts community-the NoHo Arts and Entertainment District. The location in the area of Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the new Metro Rail Station completed in 2000 and its proximity to Universal Studios makes North Hollywood a prime commercial location, easily accessible to many visitors.

The No Ho Arts and Entertainment District celebrates the arts in many ways, one of which is the Annual International Arts and Theater Festival held in June of each year. The Festival is an event that celebrates the many artistic talents of those who live in the area, and it serves as the catalyst that brings together many of the diverse cultures found in the City of Los Angeles. It attracts over 250,000 patrons to enjoy music, dance, theater, arts, culture, and cuisine from Los Angeles and around the world.

A new mixed-use development is being planned for the central commercial area that will offer new retail and office space and additional residential opportunities. This development will break ground some time in the next year. A historic train depot across from the Metro Rail Station will be revitalized in the near future, offering a charming location to learn about the area’s history as well as a place to have fun and relax.
