Buena Vista Shopping
Buena Vista has independent antiques and specialty stores, art galleries and gift stores as well as the practical building supply and auto supply stores. Because of the emphasis on outdoor recreation, Buena Vista also has several stores that specialize in outdoor sporting goods. Chain stores include True Value Hardware, ALCO (discount store), Family Dollar Store, Subway, Carquest and Napa Auto Parts. There are also two grocery stores: City Market and Nature’s Pantry (a health food store). One of the most important things the community is doing is promoting citizens to “buy local” to support the local businesses.
