Buena Vista Location and Transportation
Buena Vista, located near the center of Colorado on Highway 24, is 125 miles southwest of Denver and 94 miles west of Colorado Springs, with Aspen 63 miles northwest over Independence Pass. Bus rides from Denver can be arranged with www.blackhillsstagelines.com. The Colorado Springs Airport rents four-wheel drive and other vehicles for the scenic two-hour drive. Buena Vista is home to the Central Colorado Regional Airport with a runway of 8,300 feet, one of the longest in the state.
