An Affordable Place to Live

Compared to the front range cities, the Cañon City area is a very affordable place to live. A recent Royal Gorge Association of Realtors report stated that the average home in Cañon City sold for $115,300. In the area around the city, homes sold for an average of $111,700.

Because of the influx of new residents, there are five new subdivisions in the community.
