Welcome to the "Heart of Something Grand"
Welcome to Granby, Colorado, the Heart of Something Grand. Granby is the crossroads of Grand County. We are just minutes from all kinds of fun and activities within the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
Granby is a small town (just over 1500 residents) with small-town values. We welcome visitors with open arms and a smile on our face. In no time at all you will feel like you are "just one of the folks." Granby sits quietly in a high mountain valley, 7,935 feet above sea level. Temperatures range from highs in the summer in the mid 80s to lows in the winter below zero.
Winter, summer, spring or fall, Granby is the place you want to be. You can hike, mountain bike, boat, fish, snowmobile, ski, snowshoe and ATV, all just a few miles from town. Rocky Mountain National Park is a "stone's throw" away, as are Arapahoe National Forest, BLM lands and wilderness areas. You will see wildlife of all kinds around town including elk, mule deer, fox, moose, bald eagles, falcons, pelicans and more. If you watch closely, you may even spot a bear or mountain lion. Granby is truly in the Heart of Something Grand.
