Loveland — The "Sweetest City"

Known as the “Sweetheart City,” Loveland re-mails valentines with a special cachet and postal cancellation hand-stamped on each card by volunteers. More than 220,000 cards are re-mailed each year from all 50 states and more than 100 countries. Now in its 60th year, Lovelanders are very proud of their program that sends a message of love around the globe. Today, the Loveland Chamber of Commerce continues to operate the program in cooperation with the Loveland Post Office.

The Loveland Post Office creates a special cancellation mark annually to ensure that each Valentine is uniquely stamped. To receive a unique Loveland cancellation and Valentine cachet, enclose your pre-stamped, pre-addressed Valentines with return address in a large 1st Class envelope. Please do not send odd-shaped items in your valentine.
