Place to Celebrate

Fourth of July is celebrated the old-fashioned way – a parade, rodeos, county concert, live music with dancing, reenactment of the Meeker Massacre or Meeker Bank Robbery, barbeque in City Park – our patriotism shows!

Right after Labor Day, the Meeker Classic Sheepdog Championship Trials draw dog handlers from around the world to compete in one of the toughest Sheepdog competitions in the world. It’s five days of exciting action!
