The Windsor Museums at Boardwalk Park - are living museums depicting life on the high plains in the 1800s. Open from mid-April through mid-October, the buildings that make up part of the museum showcase the architecture and heritage of the early immigrants who settled in the area. Other popular attractions in Windsor include the completely restored Windsor Depot & Rail Cars, The Windsor Community Playhouse, Whitehall School and Pioneer Church at Boardwalk Place.
Windsor is located just minutes from the University of Northern Colorado and Colorado State University, and the University of Colorado-Boulder is less than an hour away. All three schools offer a full range of top-notch collegiate sports teams and cultural programming.
