The town of Plainville is committed to expanding our business community. Our municipality has an attractive tax abatement program to assist businesses and industries interested in locating or relocating in Plainville and has established an Economic Development Trust Fund. This fund offers loans and grants in aid to businesses and industries that are locating or relocating in our town. Our community has made a major commitment to assist interested companies and executives with zoning, utilities and communications with the State Department of Economic Development and the Plainville Economic Development Agency.

The Central Connecticut Development Fund is a revolving loan fund that is designed to encourage and stimulate small and mid-sized industries and businesses in the Central Connecticut Region. The Fund may provide a direct loan, a participation loan or a loan guarantee for qualified businesses.
