Getting Around Town

Located near both land and sea, it is easy to get to the Bethany-Fenwick area, and travel within the area is quick and convenient. The Delaware Department of Transportation offers a variety of cost-effective modes of transportation, including a complex highway system and well-maintained local roads. DART First State offers inter-county bus routes, with connections to nearby counties, and increased service during heavy tourist times.

Air service is provided by the Baltimore-Washington and Philadelphia International airports, and several small public airports in Sussex County and nearby Salisbury, MD extend limited services. The Delaware coast is also linked by water to other areas. The Cape May-Lewes Ferry offers a 70-minute boat ride from the Delaware and New Jersey coasts.
