Sussex County, one of the largest on the Atlantic Seacoast, is Delaware’s southernmost county. The county’s western and southern boundaries border the state of Maryland, and its eastern border is formed by the Atlantic Ocean.

Georgetown is located in the geographic center of Sussex County, where Delaware Routes 9 and 113 meet, and is within a half-day’s drive of entire mid-Atlantic region. Georgetown is also a thoroughfare to Delaware’s beaches and waterfront, which makes Georgetown one of the most traveled-through towns in the state and results in numerous business opportunities.

In addition to the network of modern highways, Georgetown is served by direct rail link to Norfolk Southern Railroad and by the adjacent Sussex County Airport - which has sufficient runway capacity to accommodate even large corporate jets.
