Business and Industry

Money magazine just voted Coral Springs as 27th in the nation of best places to live. In addition to the plentitude of amenities, business is booming. According to Coral Springs Magazine, 92% of business leaders feel good about the business atmosphere here. The unemployment rate is lower than most of the state at 4.2%, according to the city’s Strategic Plan 2005-2006. The demand for more businesses is so great that over 50 new office structures are being built all over the city, including One Charter Place built by the Amera Corporation. This 210,000-square-foot complex, complete with parking garage, will be just the first of many redevelopments along the corner of University Drive and Sample Road.

Coral Springs is served by two world-class medical facilities: Coral Springs Medical Center and Northwest Medical Center, covering over 50 medical specialties.

The community is active in the city. Over 30,000 volunteer hours are put in every year. A great way to network is by joining the Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce and attending their numerous events. The Chamber also has an active group that promotes leadership, called Leadership Coral Springs. They recognize local business leaders through various awards programs as well.

There is an organization for everyone in Coral Springs, including Toastmasters, Rotary Club, PTA, MOMs Club, the Garden Club and even the Star Trek club. In addition, our award-winning local Channel 25 has ongoing city information and broadcasts commission meetings.

Business is made easier by various Wi-Fi locations around town, including Starbucks, Atlanta Bread Company and Java D’lites (where a conference room is also available).
