Crestview, Florida (located in North Okaloosa County) is one of the fastest growing cities in the State of Florida. The Crestview area contains the towns of Baker, Laurel Hill, Holt, Milligan and Escambia Farms, to name a few. Our current city limits’ population is approximately 22,000 people, and our area population is estimated at 82,500. At the end of 2004 we were recognized by USA Today as one of the top 20 areas in the United States to have higher than average house appreciation rates. According to the Dallas Morning News, Crestview is one of the top 100 places to relocate to. These good reviews are awarded to us because our area has an affordable cost of living, good location, beautiful land and weather, diverse population and job availability.
Crestview is located at the junctions of East and West Interstate 10 and Highway 90 and North and South Highway 85. Pensacola lies just 54 miles west off Interstate 10, and Tallahassee is about 144 miles east. The border of southern Alabama is approximately 15 miles due north, and the Gulf of Mexico is about 30 miles south of Crestview.
