EASY ACCESS

The location of Lake Wales along the intersection of two main state arteries, State Road 60 and Highway 27, makes transportation quick and easy to other parts of the state, the nation, and the world. Two large, international airports, one in Tampa and the other in Orlando are just a short drive away. Large seaports in Tampa, Port Everglades and Jacksonville are within easy reach.

Railways run through Lake Wales and an Amtrak station is located in nearby Winter Haven. The municipal airport has fueling facilities for small aircraft with Jet A and 100 low lead available 24 hours a day. Public transportation includes a Greyhound bus station located in Lake Wales and the Polk County public bus service which travels to the main cities and towns within the county. Taxi service and airport transportation are also available.
