The Leesburg Center for the Arts is playing an important role in the revitalization of Leesburg. The Center, located in the Historic District of downtown Leesburg, conducts its programs from a 15,000-square-foot building on Magnolia Street. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of the City of Leesburg (which provides the facility), the Leesburg Partnership (which sponsors its programs) and the public, the Center has made great strides.
Its mission is to promote growth and vitality to Historic Downtown Leesburg through educational opportunities in the arts. The Center also provides support and exposure for existing programs, schools and individual artists.
The Center sponsors the Leesburg Fine Arts Festival, the Festival of Trees and the Gallery Shows, while offering an ongoing program of classes and workshops in art, music and drama. Residents participate in a summer camp as well.
