Leesburg’s strategic innovations have also attracted and retained major employers — such as to Central Florida Health Alliance, Cutrale Citrus Juice Inc., Embarq, Lake Port Square and Dura Stress, Inc.

To ensure economic vitality, the City of Leesburg has developed a partnership with one of the top economic development groups in the world — the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission (EDC) — to generate new business investment, international trade and film and television production for Lake County. The City of Leesburg also works side-by-side with the Lake County Economic Development and Tourism Department to promote the city and county as a location for high-quality corporate location and expansion.

Business Resources Center

Business Resources Center is a partnership between Lake-Sumter Community College, the Lake County Board of Commissioners, the Sumter County Industrial Development Authority, and the Sumter County Board of Commissioners, as well as SCORE, municipalities, and agencies. To help small businesses succeed, Business Resources Center is committed to providing the counseling, resources and training services needed.

Chamber Alliance of Lake County

The Chamber Alliance of Lake County, Inc., is a nonprofit advocacy organization, providing a unified voice for Lake County Chambers of Commerce and their members at the county, state and national level. The Chamber Alliance advocates on behalf of participating Chambers on issues of common interest before various governmental agencies.
