Education
The Lee County School Board is responsible for the public school system. Four elementary, three middle schools and two high schools serve students within the community. Students are able to pick a school of choice within Lee County on an “as available” basis. A Charter Elementary and High School is nearby.
Residents who wish to work toward a college degree may attend classes at Edison College, the University of South Florida, Barry University and International College. Florida Gulf Coast University, just 10 miles south of Lehigh Acres, is Florida's newest four-year university.
