The Baker House
5744 Moog Rd, Elfers
In 1882, Samuel Baker built a "cracker
style" house that still stands in Pasco County. Visitors can
tour the house and learn about this fascinating house style - the
house was built entirely of wood, but lacks any structural frame
and is held together by distribution of the weight of the roof and
second story evenly on the unsupported walls. The Baker House is
one of the oldest "cracker style" houses in Pasco County.

The Pasco Arts Center

Housed in the 1937 Anderson House, this gallerys
main floor features up to eight local artists or traveling shows
annually. Volunteers guide you through the galleries, and the Arts
Centers gift shop displays and sells the works of area artists
including paintings, fiber arts, pottery and more.

Pioneer Florida Museum
15602 Pioneer Museum Rd, Dade City
Located one mile from downtown, this museum
features horse-drawn buggies, a steam-powered locomotive, Indian
artifacts, musical instruments, period costumes, and a collection
of Roseville pottery. Historic buildings, including the Lacoochee
School, the Trilby Depot, and the Enterprise Methodist Church, can
also be found here. Other museum features include replicated pioneer
doctor and dentist offices, and a miniature doll collection of Floridas

Located in the 1913 Seven Springs School House,
this museum is home to an extensive library of County and State
information and photographs. The museum boasts a collection of memorabilia
