recreational options. The Pasco County Department of Parks and Recreation
maintains over 30 county parks. Park sizes range from 1-8,300 acres, and
amenities vary. Wilderness parks, beaches, and athletic parks offer something
for everyone, including nature trails, canoe and boat access, swimming
pools, playgrounds, sheltered picnic areas, basketball courts, softball
and soccer fields, tennis courts and volleyball courts.

for visitors and residents alike.

The Cabin Camping Area features eight cabins, a restroom shower building,
a picnic shelter and group fire pit. The cost is $15 per night for up
to four persons, with $2 for each additional person. A maximum of eight

The Tent Camping Area includes 16 sites, a restroom shower

Withlacoochee State Trail Dade City
This 47 mile trail, laid over a historic railroad
bed, is comprised of upland mixed forest, sandhill, and wetland communities.
Species found along this trail include bobcats, feral hogs, river otters,
deer, a wide variety of birds and snakes, and gopher tortoises.
Green Swamp West Dade City
Located along the Withlacoochee River, this
37,000-acre tract is an ideal spot for fishing and canoeing. Bike and
horseback riding trails are popular here, providing an up-close view of
Pascos natural beauty.
