Taylor County is the gateway to Florida’s Nature Coast. Located in the northern half of Florida, Taylor County is nestled in the deepest indention of the Gulf coastline. Perry serves as the county seat and is situated in the geographic center of the county – 51 miles southeast of Tallahassee, 90 miles west of Gainesville and 120 miles west of Jacksonville. This central location is ideal for serving all major markets in the southeastern United States.
