Bradford County is proud to be the home of one of Shands many hospital facilities. Shands Starke has been part of life in Bradford County since 1956. It is a 49-bed hospital that offers a variety of acute care services and state-of-the-art medical technology to provide you and your family with the excellent and convenient care you need.
Services provided include 24-hour emergency care, lab services, outpatient specialty clinics, physical therapy and massage, radiology, respiratory care, surgery, a Sleep Study Lab, and Shands Starke Medical Group.
North Florida Regional Medical Center has provided the community with high quality, cost-effective healthcare since its founding in 1972. It is a 278-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center offering comprehensive heart care, cancer care, women's health, senior care and orthopedic/neurosurgery and spine services.
North Florida Regional has more than 425 physicians on staff in 40 different specialties. The hospital also offers comprehensive programs covering patient education and prevention, as well as diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.
