Health Central’s urgent care facility, ExpressCare, specializes in non-emergency care for the family. With expanded hours and urgent care services including availability to caring doctors and nurses, lab work and physicals.

The Health Central Foundation, Health Central’s philanthropic organization, is responsible for placing Registered Nurses in 32 West Orange area public school clinics, purchasing equipment and supporting

the Free Children’s Medical Clinic for uninsured, impoverished children. Tax-deductible gifts enable the foundation to advance its donations to improve the health of the surrounding community and continue to support hope and healing for those in need.

Health Central strives to provide caring healthcare professionals and excellence in community healthcare in West Orange.

Florida Hospital Centra Care offers walk-in urgent care services and is owned and operated by Florida Hospital. All of their physicians are board certified and credentialed by Florida Hospital. The facilities have x-ray and lab services on site and treat a variety of illnesses and injuries, colds and flu, broken bones, minor lacerations, even back-to-school and sport physicals. They treat children and adults and no appointment is ever necessary. The clinics are open days, nights and weekends and accept most insurance plans. They are now in 16 locations across Central Florida located in Seminole, Orange, Osceola and Lake Counties.

We are also seeing an increase in other medical services available to our area in neighboring Lake County, including South Lake Hospital, which is affiliated with the Orlando Regional Healthcare System. This healthcare complex provides a multi-faced wellness center, a health education building and many orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation programs. The complex is also home to the USA Triathlon National Training Center and Hall of Fame. Our surrounding area includes the Orlando Regional Level I Trauma Center and Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, an affiliate of Orlando Regional Healthcare System.
