Cherokee County is located in northwest Georgia with Canton serving as its county seat. I-575 and I-75 are the major thoroughfares throughout the county and entire Southern region of the U.S. State Highways 20, 5, and 140 provide road transportation for citizens in the surrounding communities of Waleska, Ball Ground, Holly Springs, and Woodstock.

The area enjoys close proximity to Atlanta, Tennessee, and Alabama. 30 miles south lies the city of Atlanta, where Hartsfield International Airport will take you anywhere in the world you want to go.
