Cedar Valley Arts Festival – Featuring children’s artwork, local crafts and delicious food vendors, the festival is held in Cedartown in early May. Also, Polk County Relay for Life.

Cedartown Wheelchair Training Camp – This Cedartown 5K race event brings in hundreds of wheelchair athletes in the last week of June.
Aragon Barbeque – The last Saturday in June brings about this fun day of games, softball tournaments, musical treats and arts and crafts.
July
Homespun Festival – Held the third weekend in July, this event offers arts and crafts and a magnificent fireworks display.
September
Polk County Fair – Rides, food vendors, arts and crafts and 4-H exhibits abound at this fair, held in mid-September.
Rockstock – Local bands and additional talent take over in Rockmart, with proceeds going towards a number of charity organizations.
October
Native American Festival –Native Americans from all over come to the area to sell hand-made crafts and perform dances in the first weeks of October at Northwest Park in Cedartown.
Downtown Cedartown Fall Festival – Spanning Cedartown’s Main Street, vendors of all kinds come to sell a variety of goods.
Halloween – Cedartown and Rockmart both put on events for the Halloween season, with merchants providing treats for the youth of the area.

Christmas – Festive Christmas parades are held in both Cedartown and Rockmart.
