The Richmond Hill-Bryan County Chamber of Commerce would like to invite residents and businesses alike to become members of our organization. For the past 25 years, the Chamber of Commerce has worked with dedication and determination to promote the business community and address the needs of businesses in Bryan County. Our area is a rich mix of heritage, beauty, community pride and a growing economic climate.

The Chamber is privileged to work with more than 325 members, consisting mainly of small businesses, but also including manufacturing, shipping, retail and service providers, as well as professional and nonprofit organizations. The Chamber, local government and public/private sectors are dedicated to sustaining a vital business climate and enhancing the quality of life for all the citizens of Richmond Hill and Bryan County.

We work diligently to create opportunities for our businesses to grow and prosper by providing resources, promotions and education. As Bryan County continues to grow, so does our Chamber! Stop by one of our monthly meetings or call for more information. The opportunities are endless.

The Richmond Hill-Bryan County Chamber of Commerce offers its members a variety of opportunities to help grow their businesses through networking, marketing opportunities, member services, community development, government representation and leadership development. In addition, joining the Chamber elevates your business in the eyes of your consumers. According to a national survey, consumers are 63 percent more likely to buy from a business that is a member of the local Chamber of Commerce.

The Richmond Hill-Bryan County Chamber of Commerce knows that building relationships in the community will help your business grow in the short- and long-term. Get to know your fellow members at events, such as Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies, Business After Hours, Lunch & Learns, Ambassador events, Quarterly Business Forums and special events, throughout the year.

The Richmond Hill-Bryan County Chamber of Commerce helps you build your brand through a variety of traditional and non-traditional marketing opportunities, including free and paid options. Members are provided with a free listing in our online membership directory, as well as a bold listing in our printed membership directory, business cards/info displayed at the Chamber office, ribbon cutting ceremonies and free advertising in our weekly Around the Hill newsletter. In addition, members can choose to advertise on our Bryan County Map or in our Quality of Life magazine, sponsor any of our events or receive free mailing labels to market directly to our Chamber members.

The Richmond Hill-Bryan County Chamber of Commerce is committed to providing educational programs and community events that make our community a great place to live, work and play. The Chamber plays host to the largest event in Bryan County – the Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival, which attracts approximately 36,000 people to our county each year.

The Richmond Hill-Bryan County Chamber of Commerce represents the interests of businesses at the local, state and federal levels relating to education, healthcare, transportation and other important issues. Our Governmental Affairs Committee meets with elected officials and staffs at local, federal and state levels, hosting community forums and Legislative Meet & Greets.

In June 2011, Leadership Bryan will graduate its 13th class after spending six months addressing key issues facing Bryan County. Like similar leadership development programs offered by other Chambers of Commerce, Leadership Bryan is modeled after a nationwide community awareness and leadership training effort. The program identifies potential business and civic leaders and equips them with the knowledge and experience necessary to make an impact in Bryan County. Throughout the course, participants tour parts of Bryan County and address critical community issues along the way.

Topics studied throughout the program include the environment, leadership, communications/team-building, history, government/ military and economic development. Each session features behind-the-scenes tours, opportunities to interact with established community leaders and team building activities.
