A Tree City USA during each of the past 10 years, the City of Suwanee is proud to have one of the most environmental-friendly tree, buffer and landscape ordinances in the state. Suwanee is committed not only to protecting its trees, but also Suwanee Creek and the Chattahoochee River, which runs along the city's western border and upon which Native American settlements existed in the 18th and 19th centuries.
