Currahee Mountain

Toccoa Falls (186 ft) is a spectacular waterfall, higher than Niagra Falls. Currahee Mountain (900 ft) was the site of Camp Toccoa, the World War II paratrooper training camp.

The Currahee Military Museum has a collection of local history, including a tribute to the World War II Band of Brothers. Traveler’s Rest State Historic Site is a 19th century stagecoach inn and plantation house built along the Tugaloo River. Don’t miss the old Toccoa Cemetery which dates back to the early 1800s.
