Education

Three public school systems, Blackfoot, Snake River and Firth, serve Blackfoot and the surrounding area. Grades K-12 are available in all three districts, with a number of private alternatives. Community education, adult basic education and GED classes are also available.

Several institutions of higher learning are readily accessible, including Idaho State University in Pocatello, Eastern Idaho Technical College in Idaho Falls and Brigham Young University-Idaho located 50 miles to the north in Rexburg.
