Education is a priority in the Mini-Cassia area, and this is reflected in the actions of the local school districts as well as the communities. Cassia County School District recently completed a 10-year building program in which three new high schools, three new elementary schools and the state’s first technical training center were all built. In addition, a generous donation by the community allowed for the upgrading of the auditorium to a professional, full service King Fine Arts Center.

Not to be outdone, the Minidoka County School District built its own technical centers and upgraded its schools to be more modern facilities in order to educate the leaders of tomorrow. For higher education, the College of Southern Idaho is available with its recently expanded Mini-Cassia campus that offers academic and technical educational opportunities.
