Chamber Installation Banquet
The Banquet is held to honor retiring Chamber board chairmen and the Chamber President and to welcome incoming board members. The Chamber also recognizes the Man & Woman of the Year for their dedication and community service.
Arts After 5
Held the fourth Thursday of each month. Downtown businesses host local and regional artists. Themes range from quilts, chocolate, ethnic and folklore art.
Held every May, is a town promotion with local and regional vendor booths lining downtown sidewalks, children’s carnival and live entertainment. The Mountain Home Historical Museum, Optimist Cheerleaders and other clubs join in the festivities.
BBG & A (Barbecue, Bingo, Golf & Auction)
Is a time when Chamber members get together for fun and relaxation and is the Chamber’s largest fundraiser.
Air Force Appreciation Day
Is in honor of the men and women serving in the military. The event hosts one of the largest parades and outdoor BBQ in Idaho, held the first Saturday after Labor Day.
Held in October, local and regional vendors line the downtown sidewalks; and streets are blocked off for live entertainment; Farmers Market and historical hayrides throughout town.
Is designed to help provide clothing and toys to needy Mountain Home children, handicapped adults and senior citizens at Christmas time.
Christmas Parade of Lights
Held Friday evening after Thanksgiving and kicks-off the holiday season. Local children are encouraged to make ornaments for the town Christmas tree. At the end of the parade is the official lighting of the tree and the children’s ornaments are hung. Hot chocolate is provided by the area’s Masonic Lodge.
