Addison Elementary School District 4 serves Addison with seven public elementary schools (pre-K to 5) and Indian Trail Jr. High (6-8). In addition, the community is home to two parochial elementary schools.
These school districts work diligently to ensure that their students are prepared for the future, especially in the area of technology. From public to private schools, Addison has the best education there is to offer.
DuPage High School District 88 is committed to “Building Futures” at Addison Trail High School (ATHS) and Willowbrook High School (WBHS). With a student population of approximately 4,100 students in grades 9-12, District 88 serves the communities of Addison; Villa Park; Oakbrook Terrace; and sections of Bensenville, Elmhurst, Itasca, Lombard, Oak Brook and Wood Dale.

In April 2007, these communities voted to fund a $104.7 million referendum to modernize the infrastructure and learning environment of both high schools. With completion expected in fall 2010, “Building The Future” will represent the most significant renovations in the last 30 years. Additionally, the District Office relocated from within WBHS to the previous Addison Public Library in October 2008 as a cost-savings measure for the construction project.
The mission of District 88 is to work for the continuous improvement of student achievement. The Board of Education, administration and staff of District 88 are committed to serving the needs of diverse learners and providing opportunities for growth both inside and outside of the classroom.
