About the Company

Culinary Arts, Inc, is chef owned and operated. Chef Rick's training is in Classical French Cuisine. He is also experienced in the art of garde mange.

He has been a member of the American Culinary Federation since 1984. He has also served as the President as well as a board member for the Illinois Executive Chef's Association. He was voted Chef of the Year for the state of Illinois in 1990. Mary Ann is an experienced baker and confectionary maker. She has been a member of the American Culinary Federation since 1998. Culinary Arts, Inc. has been in operation since 1996. In 1999, Culinary Arts, Inc. won several awards including "Best Dessert" at the Taste of Springfield and the People's Choice Awards for Best Taste and Best Presentation at the Girl Scout's Annual Cookie Cuisine.

The overwhelming, encroaching tide of convenience foods, dehydrated ingredients, synthetic sauces and frozen products threatens to engulf us all.
