

The Village of Barrington is located 35 miles northwest of Chicago in the state of Illinois and is a part of two counties, Lake and Cook. Pace Suburban Bus Route 557, also known as “The Hot Line,” runs along the Barrington Road Corridor. The route has a southbound morning route and a northbound afternoon route that help connect the Metra station with large area employers such as Siemens, AT&T, Claire’s and ADP. According to the village, more than 1,800 people come to Barrington to ride the Metra train into Chicago every day. Barrington’s Metra station is located at 201 South Spring Street, and it makes the commute into the city both simple and economical.
