Batavia Worship
A strong faith resonates throughout the Batavia community. The first church was built in 1841 shortly after the arrival of the area’s first settlers.
Today, there are over fifteen churches dedicated to celebrating individual faiths and supporting the diverse community. Several churches are included in the town’s historic tours reflecting a variety of architectural styles.
Congregations gather for faith and fellowship and support many opportunities to work for the betterment of the community.
