Location & Transportation
The Village of Bloomingdale is located approximately 25 miles west of Chicago in northern DuPage County. Commuting in and around the area is made easy by its surrounding thoroughfares. Interstates 90 (north-west), 290 (east-west) and 355 (north-south) are all within close proximity to the village.

O’Hare International and Midway International airports in Chicago are both a short distance from Bloomingdale. The state’s third-largest airport, DuPage Airport in nearby West Chicago, serves smaller general aviation aircraft.

In addition to running a fixed-bus route to and from the Roselle and Glen Ellyn rail stations, Pace also operates a Dial-A-Ride lift-equipped paratransit service.

DIAL-A-RIDE
Dial-A-Ride service operates within Bloomingdale. Transfers are available to Pace buses. Reservations must be made at least 24-hours in advance. Dial-a-Ride buses are lift-equipped for wheelchairs. Pre-arranged curb-to-curb service is available for all residents, with discounted rates for seniors 65+, students and persons with disabilities whose eligibility has been determined by the regional certification process. Pace’s ADA Paratransit Services operate in all suburban areas that are within 3/4 mile of Pace’s regular fixed routes and during the same days and hours as the regular fixed route service.
