Introduction
Boone County’s economic strength, quality educational systems, affordable real estate and abundance of recreation and leisure opportunities have contributed to a special status of a community characterized by high quality and reasonable cost of living. Boone County supports two high schools in Belvidere and one in Northern Boone County, as well as 10 lower grade schools in Belvidere and four in Northern Boone County, showing a commitment to education.
