A Seven-Member Legislative Body
A Seven-Member Legislative Body comprised of the mayor and six trustees (who are elected to staggered four-year terms) govern the Village of Carol Stream. The Village Board meets on the first and third Monday of each month in the Village Hall Board Room, located at 500 N. Gary Avenue. The Board also hosts an informal Listening Post with concerned residents at 7:30 p.m. prior to the start of each board meeting. Residents can share their individual concerns with the Village Board at this time. All Village Board meetings are open to the public.
