The Carol Stream Fire Protection District
The Carol Stream Fire Protection District is an entity separate and apart from the Village. With an elected Board of Trustees, the Fire District levies a local property tax to fund fire prevention, suppression, and emergency medical services. The Fire District’s Fire Prevention Bureau offers fire and safety programs geared toward children, adults, senior citizens, and business owners and employees. Some courses include Home Hazard Safety, Seniors Education, Fire Extinguisher Training, CPR, Car Seat Safety, Fire Safety in the Workplace, Plan Reviews, Fire Drills and Juvenile Fire Setter Education.
