Bedford
Park means business. Seventy-five percent of its land area is devoted to industry
and it's home to 170 companies. Only 364 people live in Bedford Park's dwindling
number of homes. There were 333 dwelling units in 1980 and only 217 in 1990.
Corn Products Refining Company, founded early in this century by E.T. Bedford and now a part of Best Foods, is the town's largest employer.
Businesses in the community enjoy convenient access to five major interstate highways, railway services, and air transportation. The Loop is only 35 minutes away by car or by commuter train.
