Finding a good spot to eat isn’t a problem in Cicero. The difficulties come when deciding between shrimp, sushi, pizza, pierogi, taco or tortellini. Cicero’s diverse population enables restaurants to offer just about every type of cuisine. And there are more than 90 restaurants to choose from.

In the many neighborhoods, the smell of good food entices passersby. Other restaurants are found along the main streets of Cermak Road, Cicero Avenues, and 26th Street. Dining and shopping are perfect companions, so it is no wonder that many fine restaurants are located in the shopping districts.

Cicero is a full-service village. Approximately 225 retail establishments supply everything from bagels and bouquets, to linoleum and lumber, to mini-marts and supermarkets.

Several large stores such as Home Depot, Target and Sam’s Club have opened its doors in town. There is so much trade in Cicero because retailers know that it is a great place to do business.

Cicero has a reputation as a great place for shopping. Within a few minutes, shoppers can get to malls including North Riverside Plaza.
