Serving The People

The Clarendon Hills Village Board is comprised of a president and six trustees who are elected at-large to four-year terms. Regular meetings of the board are held at 7 p.m. on the first and third Monday of the month. All meetings are held in the Village Hall at 1 N. Prospect Avenue. Residents are encouraged to attend these meetings.

Police and fire department services are provided 24 hours a day. The Clarendon Hills Fire Department has a full-time chief, more than 40 paid on-call firefighters, one full-time fire prevention officer and 13 part-time paramedics. The department provides firefighting, rescue, fire prevention, and paramedic and medical emergency services.

The Police Department has 10 officers and four sergeants, and is headed by the Chief of Police. In addition to 24-hour protection services and law enforcement, the Police Department provides crime prevention programs, counseling for juveniles and drug prevention programs (including D.A.R.E).
