Hundreds of merchants and service businesses are available to Countryside residents. Countryside Plaza, home to such businesses as Home Depot and Best Buy, is the city’s primary shopping center. Salem Square Plaza, home to TJ Maxx and Marshall’s among others, along with other smaller strip retail centers also offer a wide-variety of shopping options. Countryside is also the location of such grocery store chains as Jewel-Osco and Dominick’s.

Countryside Plaza is to undergo renovations in the near future, with plans underway to open several new stores in the plaza. In addition, the plaza will undergo many façade, signage, landscaping and entrance/exit improvements. Home Depot has already opened an 118,000-square foot store in Countryside Plaza. The store features the company’s new store design, a 20,000-square foot outdoor garden center and a tool rental center.
